Tomica Black Box (黒箱 gift sets)

"Black Box" Tomica (黒箱, kurobako) is the collector nickname for Tomica gift sets sold in distinctive black packaging — anniversary sets, Tokyo Toy Show exclusives and store-limited boxes. Each box bundles several models, often with tampos, liveries or castings you cannot buy separately, which is why sealed black boxes are a lively second-hand market of their own. If you are hunting a specific black box set, check the release month pages for the models inside it.
