Display case finder

Enter how many cars you own and get a case recommendation. Full guide: Tomica display cases and storage.

The display case finder estimates how much shelf space your Tomica collection needs. Enter how many cars you own and it calculates the shelf length required, then compares it against common display cases, storage boxes and carry cases to suggest what fits.

Rule of thumb: a standard Tomica is about 75 mm long, so roughly 13 cars fit per metre of shelf in a single row. Buses, trucks and Long Type Tomica are considerably larger — count them as one and a half standard cars, and keep a little headroom for the next haul.

For help choosing between official cases and generic acrylic boxes, see the display and storage guide.

These are estimates for planning, not exact product dimensions. Tomica castings vary: a kei car is much shorter than a bus or a Long Type Tomica, so treat the numbers as an upper guide and measure your own shelf.

Care tips. Keep cars out of direct sunlight — printed tampos and white paint fade fast. Avoid damp rooms, since untreated die-cast parts can corrode. If you stack cars loose in a box, wrap them individually to stop paint chipping.
