What this model is
Tomica No. 3 Animal Transporter is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on April 2012. It models a Hino vehicle and falls into our truck category. It took over the number from Toyota Megacruiser Patrol Car. It is the 6th different vehicle to carry the number 3.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has detachable body and animals.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
