What this model is
Tomica No. 48 Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32) is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on July 2024. It models a Nissan vehicle and falls into our sports car category. It took over the number from Isuzu Elf Mickey and Friends Truck. It is the 13th different vehicle to carry the number 48.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has working suspension.
The BNR32 Skyline GT-R earned the nickname "Godzilla" after dominating Australian touring car racing in the early 1990s.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
