What this model is
Tomica No. 55 Isuzu Giga Fried Potato Car is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on April 2015. It models a Isuzu vehicle and falls into our truck category. It took over the number from Nissan Fairlady Z Roadster. It is the 10th different vehicle to carry the number 55.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has articulated sections.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
