What this model is
Tomica No. 78 Honda Civic Type R is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on December 2022. It models a Honda vehicle and falls into our sports car category. It took over the number from Nissan GT-R Nismo 2020 Model. It is the 12th different vehicle to carry the number 78.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has working suspension.
The Honda Civic Type R is Honda's front-wheel-drive performance flagship and a regular winner of front-drive lap records.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
