What this model is
Tomica No. 87 Toyota GR Supra Fuji Speedway Safety Car is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on July 2021. It models a Toyota vehicle and falls into our sports car category. It took over the number from Honda Super Cub. It is the 9th different vehicle to carry the number 87.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has working suspension.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
