What this model is
Tomica No. 7 Mercedes-AMG GT R is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on August 2017. It models a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. It took over the number from Subaru Impreza WRX STI 4door Group R4. It is the 8th different vehicle to carry the number 7.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has working suspension, opening left and right doors.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
