What this model is
Tomica No. 35 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on February 2018. It models a Mercedes-Benz vehicle and falls into our suv & off-road category. It took over the number from Toyota Noah. It is the 7th different vehicle to carry the number 35.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has working suspension, opening left and right doors.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class has been built since 1979 and changed very little visually across four decades.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
