What this model is
Tomica No. 98 Tesla Model 3 is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on December 2024. It models a Tesla vehicle. It took over the number from Personnel Transport Vehicle Large Type. It is the 11th different vehicle to carry the number 98.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has working suspension.
The Tesla Model 3 was the first mass-market electric car from Tesla and remains one of the most exported EVs from China and the US.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
