What this model is
Tomica No. 97 Doctor Heli is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on September 2014 and falls into our ambulance & medical category. It took over the number from Toyota Town Ace. It is the 7th different vehicle to carry the number 97.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has rotating rotor.
Doctor Heli is the Japanese name for helicopter emergency medical service aircraft operated by prefectures.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
