What this model is
Tomica No. 96 JSDF High-Mobility Vehicle is a die-cast model in the Tomica Regular (No. 1 – No. 120) line, released in Japan on October 2018. It models a JSDF vehicle and falls into our truck category. It took over the number from Honda Step WGN. It is the 8th different vehicle to carry the number 96.
It is a die-cast model of the real vehicle. It has working suspension.
The JSDF High Mobility Vehicle, known as the Toyota Mega Cruiser in civilian form, is Japan's military light truck.
The Regular line the main Tomica line. Around 120 numbers are active at any time, and Takara Tomy swaps the vehicle behind a number every few years. Most models have working suspension and opening parts.
